They is a phrase the top marketers love to throw around to their listening audience about how to recruit people on webinars and live events. “You Got To Get Out of Your Comfort Zone” and you can hear a pin drop due to the space going silent.
The word uncomfortable: is defined as causing or feeling unease or awkwardness. I am using this definition so that we clear on what the word means as well as what they are trying to address. See will all have our comfort zones within the variety of things we just love to do. Then when it comes to people to recruit and talk to in your business the atmosphere almost changes.
On the other hand there are some things we get very uncomfortable about or with. Upon further investigation the connection almost always links to our self-image, like how I am going to look doing this… Trying to recruit a family member, a friend or stranger.
In our business with all of the tech draw methods available to reach prospects in the market place. Some things NEVER change, people will always do business with others they know, like and trust. Yeah, this is still a people business, and to grow your business you have have recruit people,because they are the consumers and not automation.
Back to that word “uncomfortable” it has to be dealt with or you will spin in circles and quit.
